A Day (or 6) At the Beach

Wow, long time no update.  So what else is new?  Not a lot to report, really, except for a fun family trip to Sandbridge with Grandma and Grandpa Jim.  Luckily we missed the Hurricane by a couple of weeks and there wasn’t much sign of damage when we got there, though the undertow made swimming a risky proposition.  (In fact an unfortunate visitor just a few blocks down from us drowned while we were there).

The kids had a great time as always.  The boys actually had their own “apartment” of sorts, occupying the entire first floor of the house with a bedroom, bathroom and a living room complete with big-screen TV, GameCube and refrigerator.  Oh, and a ping-pong table, which got a lot of use.
